Question for Christians:

I dare you to trust that I love you, just as you are and not as you should be, because you’re never going to be as you should be. --Brennan Manning

This is how much...


  • ...God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Me. He.

for Me:

  • trust him!
  • do good
  • live where I am—enjoy it and enjoy being taken care of!
  • be delighted with him
  • commit my way to him
  • be still—wait patiently for him
  • don’t fret!
  • don’t get angry or mad

and He:

  • gives me the desires of my heart
  • draws attention to anything good I’m doing
  • has an inheritance for me!

His part is so much bigger, but my part seems so much harder.  (from)
