So how can a judge punish the guilty and everything they did wrong and be completely just, and at the same time show mercy, letting the guilty off? Hmmmmmmmm?
If he lets the guilty go, he’s an unjust judge. If he compromises and lowers the standard, then he’s compromising the law. If everyone is guilty and has to be punished, he hasn’t shown mercy and compassion. The Riddler’s gotcha!
